Customer Service

Are you looking for a new Customer Service opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a local Insurance company that is looking to hire an outgoing customer focused individual who enjoys working with the public. This is a very busy office that works hard to reach it's goals as a team and have fun while doing it! You will be assisting in providing quality service to the company's customers as well as contributing to the marketing efforts. The position also offers bonus pay to employee's that are able to pivot customers. This is a customer service position, not a sales agent position. They would like candidates to be licensed in P&L or Life and Health.


  • Provide prompt, accurate, friendly, cost-effective service by responding to inquiries from existing policyholders and the general public regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submission procedures and status, rates, billing clarification, payment plans and procedures, and make referrals for marketing opportunities as appropriate.

  • Prepare forms, policies and endorsements when required.

  • Provide service to the public and policyholders in a pleasant and courteous manner.

  • Pivot for sales opportunities and referrals with each service transaction.

  • Work with agents computer system to update information in customer databases.

  • Contact prospects and current policyholders for sales appointments.

  • Meet customer service goals and assist with marketing goals as directed by the agent.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the agent.

  • Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Ability to learn and apply product and customer knowledge to professionally service, and assist in the marketing of products.

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to create and maintain business relationships with prospects and policyholders.

  • Ability to be organized, and act on several activities concurrently and effectively.

  • Education:

    No Degree Required




  • Experience in customer service and retail sales desirable.

  • Experience with popular computer software desirable.

  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance products desirable.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
