Maintenance Specialist II - Dining Halls
Regular Full-time, Pay Grade 36, $12.41 Base
Duties/
Responsibilities:
The employee in this position performs preventive maintenance on and repairs food service equipment, repair and service building lights, filters and other equipment. This position needs a basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, welding and HVAC, able to read schematic wiring diagrams and have the ability to repair pneumatic temperature instruments. Also, will need to have the skill to dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble and lubricate machinery/equipment. Employee must keep work site and maintenance shop clean and safe.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent; two years experience repairing restaurant equipment
Valid Tennessee Driver's License
Applicant must be able to wear a respirator.
Be able to work required shift
Applicant must be in good physical health and able to lift and carry up to a 100 pounds. The applicant should have the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, staff, and university personnel and work with others in a respectful, cooperative manner. Applicant should be reliable in attendance, clean and neat in appearance.
