Description
Principal Duties:
Performs supervisory and administrative duties relating to the service, care, cleaning and general housekeeping of designated areas. Establishes and maintains schedules, trains personnel in housekeeping procedures, assigns personnel to designated work areas, conducts inspections to insure completion and quality of work assignments. Estimates amount and type of materials, labor and equipment required for housekeeping and related special projects. Orders custodial supplies, and maintains accurate inventory records of same. Maintains records on housekeeping personnel, recommends and implements personnel actions. Performs other related duties as required.

Experience:
Minimum job requirements:
a high school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years' supervisory experience; seven years' experience working in a housekeeping service organization; and have a working knowledge of custodial techniques and procedures. Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge of office productivity software (Microsoft Office).
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic supervisory principles and procedures. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to supervise a diverse group of individuals. Have an extensive understanding of housekeeping technology.
Pay Grade 36
