IT Analyst III, Enrollment Management, Office of the University Registrar

The Office of the University Registrar seeks qualified candidates for the position of IT Analyst III. This position reports to the Assistant Registrar for Transfer Operations and Articulation. The person will work with transfer operations and course articulation tasks and with the DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) Team as an encoder. Transfer Operations and Articulation duties include transfer course articulation, entering equivalencies into the student information system, assisting with the imaging/transfer articulation automated software (OnBase), assisting with coordination of the Tennessee Reverse Transfer Program and the Transfer Portal, and working with Advanced Placement, CLEP, IB, and Military credits. This position will also serve as a Degree Audit Encoder for academic programs, which includes interpretation of the university curriculum program and degree requirements and working with faculty, staff, and students.
Education: A bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree in information sciences, information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred
Experience and Job Skills:
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Extensive experience with computer programs in a Windows environment
Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDF documents
Strong written and verbal communication
Acute detail- and task-orientation
Ability to accurately document technical processes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work with a wide variety of populations
Ability to multitask
Understanding of how discrete processes are interrelated
Effective communications skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
Computer programming and/or PL/SQL or other procedural language experience
Experience with higher education policies and procedures
Familiarity with university curricular process
Experience with Banner or another student information system
Experience with DARS or another degree audit program
Familiarity with the transfer evaluation process
Experience creating and presenting training documentation

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
