Work Description:
This position is intended to support the Workforce Planning function of the Human Resources department. Duties will include, but are not limited to,
administrative
tasks such as setting appointments, preparing interview materials, creating written correspondence, photocopying, printing, faxing, filing, shredding and data entry and review. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be and maintain full-time student status of an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate-level degree
Has and maintains a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
Good oral and written communication
Must possess basic
computer
skills
Has and maintains a valid
tennessee
driver s license
Physical Demands:
Sedentary work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve bending, stooping, reaching, walking or standing for brief periods of time.Note: The physical demands described above are intended to relate the approximate physical demands of the classification. Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate-level degree in Human Resources or other related field
Strong administrative and organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
Experience with Lotus Notes or other similar calendar and email system
Prior experience working in an office/administrative environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
