Summary:
Helpdesk Technicians serve as a primary point of contact for UTMC IT services.
As a Helpdesk Technician you will provide support and assistance to the clinicians and team members of University of TN Medical Center and affiliated partners by utilizing a broad range of technologies to address incidents, problems and requests.
Principal duties include answering and resolving contacts made to IT via phone, voicemail, and email.
Technicians will perform troubleshooting and problem solving on simple to moderately complex issues for systems & applications and includes supporting:
Operating systems, mobile devices (iOS/Android), Active Directory, electronic medical record applications, as well as additional software used across the UTMC network.
This position is remote work from home Monday through Friday, 11:
00AM-7:
30PM est Position Qualification:
Job Requirements:
Strong customer service skills Good verbal and written communication skills High level of organization and attention to detail Experience with Windows 10, 11, & Mac Operating Systems Understanding of Networking & related equipment, routers, switches, cabling, etc.
Understanding of Telecom & related equipment, Cisco phones, voicemail, Jabber, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) HS Diploma/GED Preferred
Experience:
Previous call center or help desk experience Previous experience in a health care environment is a plus Active Directory (User Management) Citrix Workspace/Receiver experience Associates degree.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
