is currently searching for a Projects Controls Specialist (PCS) for our Knoxville, TN office.
The Project Controls Specialist will report directly to the vice president and will serve all profit center managers to provide operational project information that will support execution within project scope, schedule and budget to include but not limited to:
develop, monitor, track, analyze, forecast, and report on project budgets, estimates to complete, earned value, revenue accrual, commitments, expenditures, project progress and productivity, schedules, projects cost at completion, WBS cost coding, subcontracts, and change management.
Additional duties of the PCS will include providing support to engineering managers, setting up projects in Mesa's ERP system to include the input and upkeep of the work breakdown structure along with the entering of labor and expense costs associated with each activity.
The PCS will also be accountable for daily updating of projects including the input of purchase and change orders, generating project status reports for review by project management and the customer as needed, provide support for project pricing and support of invoice preparation, review, and submittal.
The PCS will also work with the VP to implement our Client Experience program.
This program is designed to help our associates create a positive client experience through requesting feedback and implementing value adds to business processes.
The following will be essential to the PCS role:
assuring change management systems and processes are implemented and followed, identifying potential project problems early and reporting all issues and problems to operations leadership, working with project teams to address and implement recovery plans.
Work
Experience:
Proficient computer skills using MS Office tools and the most current project management software programs.
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills are a must.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interface with project management and engineering staff and professional customers is a must.
Must be able to work within strict deadlines and be detail oriented.
Professional relationship skills that include adaptability and the ability to resolve problems.
Must be able to perform in a team environment.
Knowledge of Unanet is a plus but internal training will be provided.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 4-10 years related experience preferred.
Education/
Experience:
Associates or better in Finance, Business Management, or related field.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
