Cares for patients in Tennova Health System, under direction of nursing and medical staff in accordance with plan of care, by performing the following duties:
answers call lights, and assist patient needs, documentation care given, vital signs, transporting, inventory of patients belongings, EKG, phlebotomy, splint placement, draping and prepping for procedures, stocking and cleaning rooms, equipment check at start of each shift (IV pumps, oxygen tanks, check intubation trays, order entry.
Perform nurse extender duties:
IV removal and catheter removal, administration of oxygen, suction, and blood sugars as needed.
