Responsibilities:
Process ACH originations by working origination daily reports and balancing files with the Federal Reserve process summary report.
Enter new originations along with any maintenance requests daily.
Review ACH affidavits, analyze and adjust account as necessary.
Enter return amount in the ACH-Affidavit and Reclamation spreadsheet.
Enter Return code and give all paperwork to the ACH area to ensure all items are returned timely.
Analyze account status when receiving ACH reclamations.
Return Social Security and other eligible federal funds.
Notify members' estates of reclamation; accurately adjust members' accounts, place stop payments and death notifications as needed.
Follow Death Notification Entry (DNE) instructions and collect funds from estate if sufficient funds are not available.
Maintain internal transfer group exceptions.
Maintain schedule for transfer postings and verification of posting.
Review and perform correction/maintenance as necessary.
Complete all required reports and records accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
Prepare and mail letters when needed.
Assist with E-Deposit during peak times.
Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.
All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or equivalent.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
