2/2023 Summary Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of blood drives as well as promoting MEDIC through community outreach.
Ensure MEDIC is collecting the blood and blood products needed by the community.
Success is reflected daily, monthly, and annually in the number of donors drawn.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inform community members about blood and blood product usage as well as donor eligibility criteria.
Check blood drive locations prior to drive to ensure it meets FDA regulations and the needs of the Collections department.
Submit all blood drive information in JotForm for approval.
Manage accounts by creating ongoing relationship with drive contacts.
Actively engage diverse donor groups within assigned territory and maintain positive relationships with them.
Attend community events in assigned territory to promote MEDIC.
Provide consistent brand awareness to communities.
Understand and promote MEDIC's membership and replacement programs.
Provide onsite coordination and support at mobile blood drives and actively recruit donors when necessary.
Manage mobile blood drive calendar through HemaSphere.
Manage drive coordinator communications through HemaConnect.
Complete the mobile blood drive schedule for respective territory no less than 3-4 weeks in advance.
Distribute promotional materials prior to the blood drive via email, mail, and in-person when needed.
Actively recruit for new blood drives and new blood donors.
Responsible for the solicitation of donor incentive items.
Assist in the scheduling of potential donors using HemaConnect.
Assist in planning large blood drive events at fixed sites and mobile drives.
Partner with area high schools and HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) programs in an effort to engage young donors and promote MEDIC's need for blood donations.
Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Training Responsibilities Educate and motivate new and existing donor groups on hosting blood drives by conducting programs/presentations.
Decision Making Responsibilities N/A Financial Responsibilities N/A Communication Expectations Serve as primary contact for all promotional material, logistical questions, and other inquiries regarding a mobile blood drive.
Follow up with mobile blood drive coordinators regarding any issues and develop action plans to address identified needs.
Minimize schedule changes and cancellations through diligent planning and ongoing communication with drive coordinators.
Results of Action Work with Donor Recruitment Manager to consistently meet a reasonably accurate projection of units collected at a blood drive.
Organizational Culture Responsibilities Treat all coworkers, visitors, and donors respectfully, professionally, and politely.
Facilitate a culture of teamwork and support among coworkers.
Other Duties Ensure all quality standards are upheld by following all of MEDIC's policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), current Good Tissue Practices (cGTP), state regulations, and AABB standards.
Adhere to MEDIC's mission, vision, and core values.
Maintain a safe and hazard free work environment by following the policies and procedures of MEDIC's safety guidelines, OSHA, TOSHA, and AABB standards.

Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license 1 year minimum related experience included inside or outside sales Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation and public speaking.
Marketing, Sales, Account management/customer service experience and use of related software.
Microsoft Office Suite Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications or equivalent related education and experience 2

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
