Auto Tag Processor

Knoxville, TN Knoxville, TN Full-time Full-time $15 an hour $15 an hour We are looking for the ideal candidate to join our ABS Tag & Title team.
This position requires attention to detail, accurate data entry, ability to handle large volumes of paperwork, and ensuring all required documents are submitted to the state in a timely manner.
A processor will provide excellent customer service, address all concerns related to titles and registrations in a method consistent with ABS values and culture.
Remains current on state requirements to process legal documents, other state-required documents, and records status of all title and registrations.
All work and communication will be executed in accordance with the Values, Vision, and Mission of the Company.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Processes title and registration, yearly renewal tags, state transfers, new and used vehicle registration transactions accurately while adhering to state requirements ensuring vehicles are legal for use.
Communicates promptly with client when jurisdiction requirements (e.
g.
, emissions check, resolve outstanding violations) are needed to complete transaction submission.
Performs weekly follow-up with DMV agencies to address any pending concerns with initial title and registration.
Stays up-to-date on title regulations and procedures while maintaining a clear understanding of rules and compliance with all state requirements.
Handles state rejections and other title and registration problems in accordance with state regulation and customer agreements.
Prepares shipping labels and package for completed transactions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in basic computer operations on PC with Windows 10 or newer operating system.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
Professional oral and written communication when responding to inbound phone calls or sending emails.
Provide excellent customer service and support to resolve problems and discrepancies.

Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required) Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience 2 years of previous office experience Ability to work in a fast-pace environment while maintaining accuracy Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at times.
