As a Pulse Final Mile Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our distribution center.
You will be responsible for operating a forklift and performing accurate scanning and staging of products.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting customer demands and maintaining the high standards of our logistics operations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation:
Safely and skillfully operate a forklift to transport materials, products, and equipment throughout the warehouse, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Product Scanning and Staging:
Utilize scanning devices and technology to accurately record and track product information.
Ensure proper staging of products in designated areas for efficient storage and shipment.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating product information, quantities, and locations using inventory management systems.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks to verify product accuracy and integrity, reporting any discrepancies or damages promptly.
Warehouse Organization:
Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Ensure products are stored securely and in compliance with warehouse layout guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and managers to achieve collective goals, support daily operations, and maintain a positive work environment.
Safety Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Identify potential hazards and report them to supervisors immediately.
Order Fulfillment:
Assist in the picking and packing process to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine checks and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and overall performance.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated proficiency in forklift operation.
Prior experience in warehouse operations, scanning, and staging preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and scanning devices is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical capability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
