Job Description:
We are seeking a full time Operations Manager to assist in leading delivery/distribution operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Specifically, the incumbent will ensure:
Delivering in a timely and accurate manner packages to recipients Monitoring, verifying, communicating responding to and acting upon the information generated from packages out for delivery as well as responding in a timely manner to requests for information or inquiries from internal and external sources Following up on service issues, finding solutions and achieving resolution, closing out delivery day Building an operation that is capable of exceeding KPI's, increasing volume and producing a profit Sustaining LaserShip's culture through actively developing people, delegating work, communicating fundamentals and monitoring performance as well as motivating, recognizing and rewarding individuals and teams Establishing professional relationships and channels of communication with Independent Contractors that promote and support the goals of the business Implementing standard processes and procedures In addition to a robust skill set that includes the ability to work independently, problem solve and communicate effectively, the ideal candidate will possess:
2 years management experience, preferably in a logistics/3PL environment Ability to lead others Effective at meeting deadlines Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining and completing performance evaluations for employees Strong computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office Bilingual Spanish is preferred BA/BS in business or related discipline preferred Strong Distribution Background is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a front-line manager or recent college grad to join an organization that is experiencing tremendous growth.
