Talbots Contact Center, located at Pellissippi Parkway/Northshore Drive, is seeking fresh faces to add to our team! This position assists Talbots customers and retail store associates via telephone or computer, with product, credit and customer service inquiries, providing a high level of service. Principal Accountabilities: Communicates with Talbots customers verbally via telephone or in writing via chat and email. Places online catalog orders for customers while meeting service quality and sales productivity goals. Employs sound judgment in the resolution of problems while upholding Talbots Customer Service standards. Implements solutions that meet or exceed the customer's expectations. Uses multiple resources to research, resolve, document, and/or refer all service and credit inquiries; email communication, reference manuals, showroom and supervisors. Positively educates customers about company policies and procedures. Protects customer information in accordance with established PCI requirements. Appropriately commits company funds in recovery situations. Assists store associates as appropriate to do what is right for store customers. Performs basic maintenance work, including but not limited to, updates and additions to the customer mailing list. Answers basic system and procedural questions for temporary associates when needed. Is consistently reliable in attendance, punctuality and schedule adherence.
KNOWLEDGE AND
Experience: Knowledge and experience normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma plus a minimum of 3 years of practical work in a customer service environment. Experience with PC based systems required. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
