Printing Engineer
a Nationally known printer located in beautiful Eastern TN has an immediate need for a skilled printing manager/supervisor. We are looking for an individual with strong technical knowledge of printing and is experienced in working in a printing
operation. The ideal candidate will be an individual with strong gravure experience but will consider individuals with experience in high quality four color offset printing as well.
This individual will also have strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of process control and process improvement.
The Printing Engineer is the technical expert who knows how to optimize existing equipment and processes.
this position will manage many projects, including the justification, specification, and implementation of equipment that supports the
Printing operation.
Will work on a process improvement teams focusing on
material costs, scrap reduction, process improvement , equipment through put , or materials evaluation
different products.
in this role you may also work in other departments and projects such as; converting,
packaging, and distribution processes
Required
Qualifications:
o BS Degree in Printing Engineering or other technical field related to Printing
o Excellent project management skills that drive on-time and on-budget results
o Strong Leadership skills with experience training, mentoring and developing technical resources
o Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, as well as, basic presentation skills
o Excellent data analysis, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
o Proficient with Microsoft Office application
o Proficient CAD skills - AutoCAD preferred
o Willingness
