Are you a Software Security Engineer with experience in reverse engineering, digital forensics or malware analysis? Do you have a passion for computer security and enjoy solving difficult problems? Cisco's Advanced Security Initiatives Group (ASIG) is looking for people like you!
Our security team is dynamic, talented, fun, and energetic, and the work is performed in a very casual environment.
Responsibilities will include reverse engineering, digital forensics, and testing and evaluation of low-level systems and applications for vulnerability discovery.
Required Skills:
Binary reverse engineering
Digital forensic analysis
Experienced with disassembly tools (e.g.
IDA Pro, binwalk, OllyDbg)
Knowledge of computer processor architectures and instructions sets
Problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging
US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work this position will perform and the government customers with which the role will work
Desirable skills:
Experience working with IOS architecture internals
Operating system fundamentals and secure configuration
Penetration testing using a variety of tools
Cryptographic algorithm design and review
Software vulnerability assessment, fuzzing, and code coverage analysis
Custom exploit development
Virtualization platforms and techniques
Network protocol analysis and debugging
Web application security
Web protocols and basic web development
Secure development practices
Application development using a variety of languages
