Work Description:
Researching, evaluating, developing, and implementing processes, programs, and policies related to any and all of the following areas of water and wastewater treatment plant operations: plant performance metrics, development of controlled documentation programs, training program development, technical writing and development of standard operating documents, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Performs analytical, process improvement, and process re-engineering work in a variety of technical and functional areas. Responsibilities include identifying, documenting, analyzing, designing, implementing, measuring, and communicating all aspects of process improvement or process re-engineering initiatives. Activities include, but are not limited to: interpreting and applying complex rules, regulations, or guidelines to specific situations; developing and using database and spreadsheet applications; analyzing and interpreting data; working cooperatively and communicating with a variety of internal and external customers to analyze and resolve problems; effective communication with groups and individuals in written, oral, and presentation form. This position also requires the creation of database queries and reports for statistical analysis, and assisting with financial analysis for business justification as well as the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently within established timeframes; requires flexibility in performing daily tasks and accepting additional duties as needed. Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or business-related discipline such as, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a strong technical Business major
One (1) to two (2) years experience, including internship or co-op experience, in related field
Strong PC skills, including experience with Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project, and Visio), including strong query and reporting skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, customer service, and team skills
Solid project management skills
Valid TN driver's license
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Must be able to work in and around water and wastewater treatment plant environments.Note: The physical demands described above are intended to relate the approximate physical demands of the classification. Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor s and/or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or other technical discipline from accredited university
One (1) to five (5) years experience with statistical analysis, technical writing, process improvement methodologies, Six Sigma, and/or other process analysis related capabilities
Ability to direct the work of others, work effectively in a collaborative/team environment, and effectively manage change initiatives
Work experience in process analysis, process improvement, and change management
Knowledge and skills in the development and management of business metrics, dashboards, and programs

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
