PSR I
Summary:
Provide administrative coverage for the patient service functions related to the operation of a physician practice. Greets, assists, and directs visitors, patients, and others upon contact at the clinic. Take appropriate information from patients upon arrival and enters patient demographics.
Requirements:
None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
One (1) year experience in medical office setting with working knowledge of clinic appointment scheduling and collection required
Must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Must have Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience, check-in/check out, appointment scheduling and excellent customer service skills.
